Where we work
Based in Nairobi, Kenya – our home for more than 20 years – we wear a variety of hats that give us the privilege to work throughout Africa, but primarily in 22 countries of Southern and Eastern Africa, stretching from Djibouti to Nambia, an area roughly twice the size of the United States.
As Shepherds for Fruit That Remains, we nurture Africa’s urban professionals to walk intimately with Jesus so that they thrive in marriage and develop a passion to minister as a couple in their community. Although we loathe the numbers and projection game in ministry – desiring to follow the Spirit’s leading and fulfill His goals – our vision is equip 300 lay couples in the next 10 years in 22 countries. In Nairobi, we work closely with Kenya’s FamilyLife team, led by country directors and FTR Board Members James and Chao Wanje.
We also continue to serve as International Reps for FamilyLife, nurturing partnerships in 22 countries with Campus Crusade for Christ, mission agencies and denominations. But we are responsible for helping translate, publish and distribute Family Life materials for the entire continent, from the French-speaking west to the Arabic north.
